Meet Our Official Board and Mission Leadership
Alan Parker
Board Chairman
Alan and his wife, Ann, live in the Four Oaks area of North Carolina. He is one of the original team that volunteered after the Peruvian earth quake of 2007 and is a scuba diving instructor. Alan brings to the team his skill in the business world and a heart of compassion for needy people that makes him a great "Chairman of the Board".
Ray Best
Board Vice Chairman
Ray and his wife Wanda live in the Dudley, North Carolina, area. Ray is a multiple business owner and has many mechanical skills. He brings to the team an incredible work ethic and knowledge of mechanical systems that greatly enhance the work done in Peru. Ray always attracts the families and children where ever the team goes.
Jeff Porter
Board Treasurer
Jeff and his wife Robin, along with their two daughters, Mason and Megan, live in Clayton, North Carolina. Jeff is a Clayton police officer and another one of the team that volunteered in Peru in 2007. He contributes to the team with his contagious enthusiasm and willingness to tackle any job that needs to be done...and do it well.
Rev. Ken Andrews
Executive Director
Pastor Ken and his wife, Diana, along with their daughter, Bethany, live in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Coming onto the team from a church staff position in 2010, he facilitated the status of Wells of Living Water International to become a 501(c)3, non-profit organization. Ken brings to the team his many years of ministry experience and a passion for ministering to the people of WOLWI and all the people the team touches.
John Boyette
Drilling Manager
Don Creech
Board Secretary
Don and his wife, Sharon, along with their daughter, Rachel, live in Princeton, North Carolina. They have three married children, Emily, Matthew, and Jacob. Don is an hydraulics mechanic by trade and can service or rebuild any piece of equipment he is called upon to repair. He brings to the team his mechanical skill but most of all a desire to serve God in everything he does.
Rev. Jorge Fonseca
Operations Manager
Pastor Jorge and his wife, Myrna, live in Fayetteville, North Carolina. He is a retired US Army medical management expert and has worked in other non-profits organizations. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Jorge is a valuable Spanish translator and publicly speaks in "Well Dedication" ceremonies as well as local churches in the Piura, Peru area. As Operations Manager, he oversees the planning and execution of each drilling trip to Peru. Jorge's passion is for WOLWI's new "Church Planting" ministry.
John Boyette Jr. and his wife Candice live in Wilson, North Carolina. With his father, John owns and operates Boyette Well and Septic, Inc in Wilson. He is a certified well driller and is a leader in the North Carolina well-drilling industry. John brings to the team an incredible knowledge of well drilling equipment and operations that greatly legitimizes all the team does in Peru.
